Film Premiere Details

Two generations. One reflection. A documentary on mental health in the Black community premieres at the historic Mariemont Theatre.

What we felt. What we held. What we never said.

The 90s to 90 is an intergenerational documentary exploring mental health and emotional suppression across two generations of the Black community — those born in the 1930s, and those born in the 1990s. Through personal interviews, professional insight from therapists, spoken word, and a closing dance performance by CA2DanceCrew, the film asks what changes between generations — and what doesn't.

Two generations. One reflection. It's time to talk.

This premiere also marks a special homecoming: the reopening of the historic Mariemont Theatre.

Join us for an evening that includes:

  • The full-length premiere of The 90s to 90
  • Meet the cast and creative team
  • Photo ops
  • A gift for every guest
  • A raffle drawing

Your ticket does more than get you a seat. Proceeds from tonight's premiere help fund a free community screening of The 90s to 90 this fall, bringing the film — and the conversation it starts — directly to those who need it most but might not otherwise have access.

Tickets: $15 general admission
